APRCHS Hosts World AIDS Day Symposium 12/01/17

 

  1. Philip Randolph Campus High School (APRCHS) was proud to host the World AIDS Day Symposium on December 1st, 2017.

150 Students from the 9th grade Medical Academy’s Perspective of Medicine class were treated to presentations on the HIV/AIDS crisis from Physicians, Activists, Scholars, and Journalists.

The presentations focused on improving awareness of the ongoing HIV/AIDS crisis and how it was disproportionally affecting persons of color and those living in poverty.

APRCHS was also proud to host 10 guests from the neighboring Academy of Social Action (ASA).
