Advance Screening of PBS Documentary: Personal Statement
The Youth Leaders of APRCHS’ Student Success Center were treated to an advance screening of the film Personal Statement at the CUNY Graduate Center on 10/10/18.
The Film Personal Statement tells the story of three high school students who are working hard to not only get themselves into college but also who are inspiring their classmates to apply to college as well. This film is especially poignant to our Youth Leaders as it connects to the work they are doing with their peers in the Student Success Center at APRCHS.
The Youth Leaders are pictured below with two of the three subjects of the film as well as Ms. Cruz, Ms. Bosques, Mr. Ventura, and Lori Chajet the Co-Director of CARA.
