Congratulations to Paola Garcia

Congratulations to Paola Garcia ‘19 for having her artwork selected for the cover of the 2018 Conference for Community Arts Education Booklet.
Paola’s artwork was selected from thousands of applicants citywide to serve as the front cover for the publication.

The artwork was created as part of an art class during the 2017 – 2018 school year where students worked with teaching artists from Creative Art Works (www.creativeartworks.org) to produce pieces of visual art that supported their work in their general classroom studies.

Special thanks to Mr. Wendell Lissimore, her APRCHS teacher, and Mr. Abraham, the teaching artist from Creative Art Works, for their ongoing support with the art class.
