Engineering Academy
The Academy of Engineering: The Academy of Engineering offers students the opportunity to explore careers in Engineering. Students enrolled in the Academy of Engineering take courses designed by Project Lead the Way (PLTW), the leading provider of rigorous and innovative Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education curricular programs in middle and high school across the United States. More information about PLTW can be found on their website www.pltw.org.
Students enrolled in the Academy of Engineering are also offered the opportunity to apply for membership in the National Society for Black Engineers (NSBE) which is an equal opportunity honors organization supported by CCNY. Students are also encouraged to participate in our Robotics team which took the Top Rookie Seed Award in 2012
