Columbia University Double Discovery Center (DDC) Class of 2019 Graduation

On Thursday May 16th Columbia Universities’ Double Discovery Center held their 2019 Graduation Ceremony.

The Double Discovery Center works with low-income, first-generation college-bound youth from Harlem and Washington Heights to help ensure their success to, through, and beyond college. They leverage and coordinate University resources to provide students with a comprehensive network of support that includes Academic Enrichment, College & Career Success and Healthy Minds & Bodies. More information about the DDC can be found on their website: https://ddc.college.columbia.edu/

  1. Philip Randolph Campus High School (APRCHS) is proud to list the Double Discovery Center as one of our community partners.

The DDC’s additional programs and coursework allows highly motivated students to reach for the stars in the competitive college admissions process.

The DDC has been very supportive of APRCHS students, and regularly comes to student and parent events to recruit students for the program.

APRCHS Parent Association President Kaime Desire was recognized by the DDC for her excellence as a Community Partner with DDC.

APRCHS was proud to have several members of the APRCHS Class of 2019 represented at the DDC Graduation Ceremony, many of whom won individual awards at the ceremony.
