NYC SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED UNTIL APRIL 20th

Mr. Fanning from A Philip Randolph Campus High School has sent you a message:

Dear Students, Parents, Faculty, and Staff,

I am sure that many of you have just heard Mayor DeBlasio announce the closing if NYC Schools tomorrow Monday, March 16th.

All students, Faculty, and Staff are directed to stay home tomorrow.

Students may report for a special grab and go breakfast and lunch service, but will not be allowed to remain in the building.

The grab and go breakfast and lunch service is expected to continue through the closure.

The NYCDOE will make a determination if we can re-open public schools on Monday, April 20th.

Faculty and Staff are asked to report to work on Tuesday, March 17th.

We will begin extensive training on the organization of distance learning services at this time.

Distance learning is expected to begin on Monday, March 23rd.

We expect the NYCDOE to have additional guidance on distance learning and technology needs later this week.

Please pay close attention to the news and the recommendations of the Center for Disease Control during this crisis.

Limit your social contact in any way possible and keep an eye on our most needy populations, the elderly and the infirm.

More information will be distributed as it becomes available.

Sincerely,

David Fanning

Principal
