APRCHS Athletic Letter Program

APRCHS Athletic Letter Program

Please join me in congratulating Coach Perlowitz, Coach Scriba, Coach Frawley, and the Varsity Football Team for their incredible 2021 – 2022 Football Season. In only their third Varsity Season, and their first since the end of the COVID lockdown, the team went all the way to the City Championships.

In addition the Varsity Football Team have distinguished themselves as Scholar Athletes who continue to meet weekly during the off season in order to keep all of their teammates on track for graduation.

Inspired by this exceptional season, Coach Perlowitz and Principal Fanning announced on 04/06/22 that the APRCHS Athletic Department was re-instating the Athletic Letter program for all PSAL sports. The Athletic Letter is traditionally awarded to students who have earned a space on the Varsity Sports Program and is reflective of their achievements on and off the field.

Additionally, in recognition for the tremendous achievement of the 2021 – 2022 Football Season, the Athletic Department has awarded each member of the 2021 – 2022 Varsity Football Team with a Varsity Jacket to display their Varsity Letter.

This gift is a token of respect and is reflective of their achievement.

We have asked that the athletes wear their jackets with pride and remember that they represent all of us when wearing it.

Coach Perlowitz reviewed the requirements for the Varsity Letter Program with the team.

We look forward to presenting this program to the Coaches and Athletes of all of our teams.

The awarding of Varsity Letters will be celebrated at the PSAL Sports Awards on Saturday June 11th.
