Varsity baseball wins their first game of the season against Bayard Rustin 12-11.
Down 5 runs in the bottom of the 7th, the Cougars rallied their way back into the game and Norberto Emmanuel won it with a single to left field to drive in the winning run. Special shoutout to our senior Justin De Jesus who hit for the cycle going 4-5 with a single, double, triple, and homerun along with 5 RBIs.
Hitting for the cycle is a feat that many dream of on the baseball field and our athlete did that!
Our players showed resiliency and determination to win the game.
