The Academy of Gaming Pathways and Robotics
APRCHS/CCNY Gaming Pathways and Robotics
The APRCHS/CCNY Gaming Pathways and Robotics Program is a collaboration between A. Philip Randolph Campus High School (APRCHS) and The City College of New York (CCNY). Our goal is to expose young people in our community to the career opportunities within the growing field of software engineering, game design, and robotics. Through our partnership we are hoping to provide students with an opportunity to take college accredited classes as well as courses designed to develop the skills necessary for our students to be competitive applicants to four year college programs and other post-secondary opportunities.
This program will also address the gap in female and minority candidates within the fields of software engineering, game design, and robotics. The support and training that students receive within this program will greatly improve their chances for acceptance into post secondary programs and lead to lasting success within the industry.
